Who runs WETM?

Two kids (Sally and Scotty) on their pocket money. If you ever wondered how far a coin could stretch, pop down on Saturday to see the project in action. With 5 live bands, 40 markets stalls and a bar to run, the the markets layout is carefully nurtured and tweaked to help creat the best  and most sustainable atmosphere possible. Our main helper is Scotty's Dad - Ray - affectionately known as 'spanner', who employs his generational nouse to ensure all ideas are sound and can be achieved. If you need a spare extension cord, the gas tweaked on the beer or a roll of masking tape, Ray is your man. What’s so great about WETM?

“It’s like going to a family barbecue where you actually like the people!” Chat to one of our many easy-going stallholders, rummage for a bargain, enjoy some scrumptious food or just sit and listen to some of the free bands playing. No matter what your penchant you’ll find something to amuse or delight you.

What do the organisers feel WETM is?

It's a present for our beautiful community; with love. The West End Twilight Markets is more than a market place, it’s a jamboree!

We are creating a space where artisans, designers, collectors, providores, performers, frollickers, foragers, and sticky-beaks can come together and make merry.

Based on the principles of sustainability, engagement, and creativity we are aiming to create a trade revolution that postulates real sustainability, joy, prosperity, and change. The mandate being that recycled, reclaimed, handmade, bespoke, local, organic, fair-trade, and ethical traditions of production are the ways of the future!
