TERMS AND CONDITIONS
When you enter the site, you are bound by the Terms and Conditions and any other conditions specified by us on our website or booking forms.

The local police station is aware that the West End Twilight Market is held each Saturday.
They are located across from our Hanger, at 92 Boundary Street, West End, QLD 4101

SAFETY GUIDELINES
Please take moment to read this important safety information.
Footwear is strictly compulsory. Always take care when walking, watch where you are going.
All tap water on site is of drinkable quality.
Plastic, sharp objects, cans and cigarette butts all endanger native wildlife, so please dispose of them thoughtfully.
The site is privately owned, please do not damage or vandalise the site in any manner.
Children must be supervised at all times.
In the event of any injury please make your way to the info desk for assistance.
Entering the Site
Market Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any person who:
Is acting inappropriatly.
Is in possession of and refuses to surrender any prohibited or illegal object.
During the Market
Litter in the venue or surrounding area. All rubbish is to be disposed of correctly in facilities provided.
Cause damage to, improperly use or tamper with any public facility or market infrastructure.
Light or cause to be lit any fire (including barbecues)
Operate any event equipment (generator, vehicle, sound and lighting system, two-way radio)
Exit the venue via routes other than the designated exits and emergency exits.
Cause any damage to flora and fauna on or surrounding the venue or enter any onsite bodies of water.
Remove or attempt to remove any item or object from the venue or surrounding area.
Behave in a threatening or inappropriate manner (aggressive, riotous, abusive, or insulting actions) towards other patrons or event staff.
When leaving, be ultimately respectful to neighbours and nature of West End. Noise should be kept to a minimum.
Breach of the above conditions may result in the removal of the patron from the site.
Eviction
Is involved in any illegal activity, including underage drinking. The offender will be removed and the matter referred to the Police, and be escorted from the market site.
Is behaving in a manner that reasonably interferes with other patrons’ enjoyment of the festival.
Is causing damage, being disruptive or threatens the safety of other people on the festival site.
Evicted patrons will not be permitted to re-enter the site on the given night of eviction.
Programme Changes
While every attempt is made to present artists as advertised, the programme may be subject to change without notice.
Youth Policy
All minors under the age of 16, must be accompanied by an adult to the market.
It is recommended that a responsible Guardian of 25yrs or older must accompany all youth patrons (0 – 15years old).
Guardian may accompany a maximum of 3 youth patrons only.
Any patron under the age of 16 are not the responsibility of the West End Twilight Markets.
It is the responsibility of the Guardian to ensure that all youth patrons accompanying them comply with instructions issued by market staff and/or contained in all permanent and temporary signage throughout the market site.
Patrons under the age of 18 must not engage in any illegal or disruptive activities whilst on site. This includes underage drinking, use of illicit substances or any generally disruptive behaviour.
If a youth is evicted, their Guardian and all other accompanying minors will also be evicted. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Any breach of the these conditions may result in the eviction of the Guardian and all accompanying minors from the market site.

West End Twilight Markets (w.e.t.m.) have the irrevocable right to use any photos, film or other recordings taken of people or things whilst attending the festival for marketing, promotional or other WETM purposes in perpetuity.
Sound/video recordings of performances cannot be made without prior written consent of WETM. Photographs taken at the festival cannot be published without prior consent of the WETM.
Footwear
Footwear is compulsory at all times.
Pets
No pets are allowed on the market site.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the market space.
No smoking in any performance venue.
No smoking in eating and drinking venues.
Liability
West End Twilight Markets takes no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property. The patron enters the venue at their own risk and to the maximum extent permitted by the law, West End Twilight Markets, its employees and all other persons involved in the organisation, sponsorship and promotion of the event accept no liability for any injury, loss, claims, costs, expenses or damage which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise directly or indirectly in respect to the supply of goods or services (including liability for negligence) and to the extent permitted by the law in the supply of a recreational service. West End Twilight Markets and its employees and all other persons involved in the organisation, sponsorship and promotion of the event accept no liability for death or personal injury howsoever caused.
Alcohol
The West End Twilight Markets is a licensed event. BYO alcohol will not be permitted within the market precinct.
Any person found involved in underage drinking or caught with BYO alcohol within the market precinct will be issued a citation and a fine by the Police, and evicted from the market site. Guardians of any youth involved will also be evicted from the festival site.
Parking
There is no parking permitted on West End Twilight Market precinct.
Parking is available on the streets as per Brisbane City Council parking regulations.
Also the Convention Centre offers parking.
Public transport is available Bus Stop 7 is located outside the Old Museum Building on Bowen Bridge Rd. Bus 370, 375 and 321, see Translink Journey Planner for more info.

SERVICES AND FACILITIES
There are no childminding facilities available.
Disability Access
The market has excellent disability access. Please notify us 24hours in advance if you are attending the market and wish to have easy access to the market This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Cash Facilities
Individual merchants may provide EFTPOS facilities. Cash is the preferred method of barter. ANZ and NAB have ATM’s on site.
First Aid
In the event of injury, please report to security or the festival information stand.
Ambulance
In the event of serious injury, please report to the market information stand OR immediately call 000 and inform the market information stand.
Public Lock-up
Not available. All personal belongings are the patrons responsibility. It is recommended you never leave your belongings unattended.
Licensed Bars
Bars are conducted strictly according to regulations. Under-aged patrons will not be served, and no alcohol is to be taken outside the licensed areas. No BYO alcohol to be bought in to the festival precinct.
Smoke Free Zones
The entire market space is smoke free.
